Tutoring Philosophy

Learning Tree Tutors is owned and operated by Christine Zahn.  The foundation for her educational philosophy stems from her over 25 years in the education field.  That philosophy is to teach based upon her firm belief that every student can succeed at school, given the proper encouragement, motivation and tools.  She believes that a tutor’s most important job is to listen and observe how children work and learn.  From that foundation, provide the student with strategies to work and learn more effectively.

Learning Tree Tutors aim is to reach those students in need of assistance as soon as possible.  They work with each student to teach them effective and lifelong learning strategies and problem solving skills.  From there, a cycle of confidence, motivation, and academic success that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.  The educational programs at Learning Tree Tutors are designed to expand and enforce the learning experience.  We tailor a curriculum to meet each child's need. Our tutors build self-confidence by teaching students strategies to succeed academically.   We can help you reach your educational goals at Learning Tree Tutors.
